Caritas Congo supports Lolo diocese

Caritas Congo Asbl, through its Unit of Infrastructure, has just completed an assessment mission of the school buildings in the Diocese of Lolo, northwest of the DRC. It will allow to produce an advocacy document to be submitted to the Embassy of Japan, hoping to benefit from a non-refundable donation of small local projects (APL) for their reconstruction.

In an interview in Kinshasa Bishop Jean-Bertin NADONYE newly appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Lolo, in north-eastern Democratic Republic of Congo indicated its priorities on the diocesan Caritas. The Prelate reported capacity building of staff working in the Caritas-Développement Lolo, the establishment of farmers' associations that do not exist in the diocese, construction, rehabilitation and equipping of schools, Health population, not to mention roads and a river transport means on the tributary Itimbiri.
In this interview to read below, Bishop Jean-Bertin NADONYE emphasizes that "Congo Asbl we expect a strong collaboration in diocesan Caritas staff Lolo, support in fundraising and especially as an intermediary to achieve certain projects with international organizations. Indeed, Caritas Lolo does not fulfill the conditions required for it,"
